ABOUT Stephen Sustad - Cabinet Maker
Born in Seattle, USA, I have led a double life as woodworker and international mountaineer. Mountaineering allowed me to travel the world but the UK became my new base. As a young man I learnt carpentry on various construction sites, which included building sound studios. Once in the UK I decided to build upon my skills and studied Fine Woodwork at The Worshipful Company of Carpenters in London. Here I achieved 'Student of the Year'. This Building Crafts College has a long tradition of delivering high quality training in building crafts and building conservation.
A few years later I relocated to the Shropshire countryside where my workshop is now located. From my workshop I am able to create bespoke items to meet your specifications. After the initial contact has been made, I can discuss your needs and prepare designs for approval. You will be kept up to date on progress throughout the process and are invited to visit the workshop to see your furniture being constructed. I can delivery anywhere in mainland UK and fitting dates can be arranged to coincide with other work you may have going on.
Below are examples of the type of work that can be undertaken.
